MdCL (aka Mark de Clive-Lowe) presents his monthly clubnite in LA, ‘CHURCH‘. First Sunday of the month at Angel’s Piano Bar, Santa Monica every month.

The LA Times calls MdCL “an uncategorizably gifted talent” and said CHURCH “has earned a reputation as one of the premier jam nights in the city.” 

From the jazz club to the turntables, each month at CHURCH is a musical journey with surprise guests and features. Come in early for some dinner, drinks and dessert – the live music kicks off at 9pm with a live acoustic jazz set led by MdCL on piano and guests. At 11pm for the second set MdCL transitions to his rhodes, drum machines,

synths and electronic toys for a twisted club set of jazz-infused beats, and the night wraps up with a DJ set from MdCL and guests.

9pm – jazz set featuring Derf Reklaw

10pm – DJ Rani D (Soul in the Park)

11pm – Beats/club set (not so seated)

12am – DJ Rani D (Soul in the Park)

2am – close

guest DJ + MdCL DJ sets in between live sets and after
